Can our HOA or city use our own domain?

Collihort help · the short answer first, then the next paragraph.

Yes. After the garden exists, organizers can point a domain they already own at Collihort.

Every garden gets a free address like yourgarden.collihort.com. That works as soon as the site exists.

If neighbors should type gardens.example.org instead, an organizer saves that domain and adds the DNS records shown — usually a CNAME to origin.collihort.com. Keep using the Collihort address until the certificate shows as active.

Email from your own domain is a later step under Email settings, after the site itself is answering on that name.
