Where do the garden listings come from?

Collihort help · the short answer first, then the next paragraph.

Pins come from the American Community Gardening Association Find a Garden map. Collihort imported those listings so a neighborhood can find or claim a known garden.

We did not invent a second national directory. The street, city, and program name come from ACGA’s public Find a Garden map. A pin on Collihort is that listing, not a new garden.

Claimed pins have a live Collihort site. Unclaimed pins are still the ACGA listing until an organizer claims them. Pending pins already have a request or a reserved site.

National how-to guides stay on Resources. Each live garden still keeps its own member library.
